Just over a year ago I played guitar & bass.

I hadn't made any instruments.

I owned acoustic & electric guitars & a bass

I had modded the electrics and fitted a piezo to a 12 string.

NOW!!!

I have a mando, and am halfway through a bouzouki, I have a fretless bass and am completing a doubleneck acoustic for a mate.

by the end of January I should have finished my 13th build and still no sign of stopping!!!

I have 10 tops and 3 sets of Back & sides in stock

I now even know what a cittern is (I used to think it was a wading bird) and I even know about weisenwotsits, plectrum, & baritone guitars, before we even get to lap or pedal steels!!!!

cut it out you lot PLEASE!!!!

Yes, Martin, here's a second for a banjo.
Actually, more:
5-string,
Tenor,
Open back,
Fretless,
etc.

By the way, do you know what a Curlew is?
Can you locate plans for one?

Steve

Yeah but Martin, just think! Now you'll never ever need to buy another guitar! Ever again! What a liberating feeling, eh?

Of course, as you have no-doubt realized, your GAS has now been replaced by WAS and TAS, which will likely end up costing MORE! HaHaaaa! (I laugh so I don't cry)

Best,

Michael

Yeah, but our system works a little differently from others--our daily meetings just get you in deeper. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here!

Oh I hear you, but I look at it this way, I'm not out drinking, gambling or generally being stupid. I'm outside in the garage if Sweetie needs me. I have a monthly budget that I adhere to and I'm the one who works overtime, so....
Martin I think that you need to build a harp guitar too.......
I've already asked him to make me one five times, but he refused....

Guess I'll 'ave to make it meself..

But unlike Guitar Aquisition Syndrome, the Luthier bug seems to get stronger when offline for a bit!!

Can't just be the OLF's fault...
