I got my zoot from David Dykes last week and am totally delighted with everything I got.

Ace service, REALLY friendly guys, they seem to have everything I needed and seem to really seek out quality woods that defy the price grading. I also got some beautiful veneers for marquetry inlay.

Really fantastic to have a decent luthiers suppliers this side of the globe...

So thanks for recommending 'em Colin!!

Dave's a fantastic guy, especially if you're not entirely sure what you want. A phone call, a chat, and you've got excellent, top quality wood coming your way. And you can trust him sight-unseen.

Yup, that's the experience I have had with Mr. Dykes and co..... I have dealt with many, many companies (along with my other many duties at work I manage an arts supply shop making orders) and I have never come across a company so helpful.

Cheers, y'all!!

Trusting your purchases to be OK as sight unseen is a rare thing these days...

The zoot all stickered up at the moment and stored in the Dining room due to my workshop being terribly damp. We've had tons of rain here, and a roof leak so I might humidity control the dining room and turn it into a temporary workshop for glueing etc.

Glad your pleased with him Sam. Like the sponsors we have here David will always go that extra mile to help a customer. I live close enough to visit him and believe me poking around his wood pile is a great experience. He is the only supplier I know that sells extra thick neck blanks especially for V-joints.

Colin
