Absolutely stunning. I LOVE the black top. So what if it is an awesome piece of Lutz under it. You wouldn't want that nice of a guitar to have a bad soundboard. I am very curious as to what it will sound like. I too will be building an L-00 soon. I know you changed the bracing from Marks plan, but I am very curious. Again I LOVE that guitar!!!!! Very cool. It is always nice to be innovative and make something that is just not plain old EIR/Spuce (Not that there is anything wrong with that....J Seinfeld) |

Hesh, what can I say? OK as you know I wouldn't have done it, but I must admit it does look pretty cool! Much, much better than a sunburst. You have a real talent for the aesthetics, especially tying in the binding with the woods, neat touch. Yep, I'd be happy to play it (just not in any clubs where I'm known ) You'll have to wear white gloves to play it though, think of all the fingermarks!

It's nice when the forum is visited by some of "The Greats"... Doolin, Somogyi, Frank Ford, etc.... but It seems we have one of The Greats right here with us everyday! It's also nice when a really good luthier is a really good guy!!! Thanks Hesh, for sharing this beautiful guitar!! long |
