I'm glad you like it so much. By your description of the sound, I
wonder how different in its makeup (not figure) the tiger myrtle is from
the myrtle from here in California and Oregon?

Magnificent! Another fine addition to your retirement fund. You always impress me with both the speed of your builds and your craftsmanship.

I look forward to the sound file.

Beautiful, Hesh.

I'm not surprised to learn that it has a dark sound.    Groan...

Hesh, it is growing on me....as I said before it is a very classy looking guitar, but yours usually are!! It will be interesting here what the comparision is to this one and your current build.

Thanks for continuing to share!

Hesh, I am totally floored at how gorgeous it is.

I can't wait for it to arrive here!

That makes me want to pull out some of my stuff and start building. I have at least six or seven sets....and Tim is working on getting me some curly sides for my curly backs.

Let me say it again....FANTASTIC ! !

Superbo! This has got to be one of the nicest looking builds I have seen.

You know! I was a big fan of the black top but now I'm not so sure! It just doesn't look good!

Awe inspiring work Bud! The Tiger looked like it was going to be darker under the finish, but it just jumps right out!

I think we will see more painted ladies on the OLF!

Nice guitar Hesh. I sure am glad that I'm not the only one who likes colored tops other than a sunburst. After all, the sound is what counts and the appearance is an individual preference.

Hesh that is gorgeous, and you have honed your skills to a razor's edge.

Congrats on another piece of art.

Hesh, fabulous little guitar, I would be very proud to have made it, and you should be very proud of yourself.

Don't put a pick guard on it, if you feel the urge to get out a plectrum, just give me a call and I'll persuade you not to. Or use, gulp, the Dreadnaught instead!

Colin

(I know you posted that picture just to torture me, a dreadnaught, a sunburst, and a painted top!)

Tis very very cool Hesh !

Congratulations on this really fine build and for sticking to your guns with the black top . I'm pleased the Tiger didn't disappoint sound wise.

Regards, Craig

I don't think I will ever paint one of my tops black, but I'm glad you did - very cool.

Hesh
Awesome
I sent you a PM about the details.
Another question.
What depth did you use at the tailblock and neck block?
