Well, good thing I'm taking forever to build my shop out in the polebarn. While out there tonight, I saw what I can only assume was one of many small winter vacationers to which I will be serving eviction notices in the near future. This really is no surprise considering half of the building is finished and insulated. Who can blame them for seeking shelter from the harsh Michigan winter? Ah,......that would be me!    Any suggestions, or am I about to come under assault by PETA?

What PETA doesn't know won't hurt them.

Ha, exactly! If PETA has a problem with it, get a pet Ocelot, that should help!

I have a cat that lives in my shop and I keep her food locked up in a large plastic container and I was noticing that something was eating her food and finally they figured out how to open the container so I moved it into my humidity room. One night I was down in the shop and was in my humidity room working when I heard a big rucus going on in the outer part of the shop. I opened the door and two teenage racoons were fighting with each other over the cat's dish of food. When they say me they ran and hid so I got the air hose out and went after them. I had the barn door wide open but they still ran from one side of the barn to the other for 5 minutes before they ran out the door. I haven't seen them since.

Too bad you didn't get that on video. That would have been a video worth watching.

Mice in the walls. I watched one go along the floor, into a hole at the base of the wall (just like in cartoons!), and minutes later, heard it scratching around about 5ft. up. I wanted to tear the wall apart right then!
