Because it's made of wood! Check it out the legnatile (I don't know what the name means, that's just what this guy decided to call it). This is a very cool concept. He had some neat ideas when putting it together, but, I'm sure some members of this forum could execute the design a bit nicer. |

"Really beautiful"? He's joking, right? I'd like to see a luthier's version of something like this. For sure, no deck screws or funky looking veneers. But I reckon it would have binding and properly mitred purfling.  Oh, and decent looking woods as well.
