NOT that way!

Yesterday afternoon he dropped off a box that contained a set of Macassar Ebony that I snatched off of Allieds Weekly Specials page!

Man, I simply cannot wait to use it!

Nice grab Lance!
That has a nice contrast to it.
And is that a slight pink hue I see?
Amazing Zoot!

Bob's tulipwood bindings would look good on that.

Wow that's some nice wood Lance. That looks a lot like Ziricote.

Any plans for it yet? Top wood, box size etc....

It's nice getting early Christmas presents

Cool Planes. I have the small low angle block plane and love it. I think I would rather have the Mac Ebony though. I can always get a good plane but God has to make wood like that and it doesnt come around all that often. Great Buy Lance!!!

I see nothing unmanly in that!

There's nothing unmanly in that Macassar either! Great purchasing decision!

Could you see if your UPS man could swing by my house?

That is some awesome wood. It has very Zircote-like lines that make it
even more striking. I look forward to seeing what you choose to build
with it.

Isn't it amazing how excited we can get when a box of wood or tools
shows up on our doorstep? My wife laughs at me every time a delivery
comes and how I drop what i'm doing and, not only receive the package,
but also go through the regimen of checking the packing list, opening the
box, and carefully unpacking each piec and examining it.

My usual closing to the ritual is to leave the new wood out in the
open...usually on the dining room table for all to see and admire as they
pass by or to explain to everyone why a new tool is so much better than
my old one and why I really had to have it.

I thought about it one day and I realized that i'm like a little kid with a
new toy proudly displayed on his dresser when he first gets it.....but I
don't feel too bad about it....at least I don't prop it up next to my bed so
can fall asleep looking at it.

Merry Christmas,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

I tink we all do that. It's nice getting a package, sort of like Christmas day any time of the year.

Blessings to all of you!

Hey Lance-

I love your set. I had to have one too and my UPS guy dropped this set off a couple days ago. It's plain jane compared to the other sets but it's weird enough to appeal to me.
