I started a thread 3 weeks ago "This Guitar is in Toona" just to show some folks the all Viet Nam wood mahogany 7-string OM my friend made for me. I have really enjoyed playing it, love the sound and have figured it fits my limited finger-picking style. (Roger Mcguin 7-string Martin gave me the idea).

I noticed I could see some of the unfinished wood at the inside bottom edges of the soundport holes and took it back to ask him to darken the unfinished areas. I felt kind of picky about it because he gave me such a good price to begin with but I knew he could do a much better job than I could with colored pencils. The finish was ready the next day.

I was too busy to pick it up for the next 3 days so was not able to get it until last night. I apologised for being so picky and he said he was very greatful that I left it there for 3 days because 2 other people who came in and tried it each ordered one for themselves.

I guess it sounds better to more people than just me.

Great story, Cecil! I wouldn't mind seeing more of his work.

Sorry Carlton but for some reason when I try to post pictures I just get the little x box in the corner. I don't know how to fix it.
