Post subject:  Not Guitar related but CNC'd
Weird day today. I Vcarved a Cross/Headstone marker for a young man who died on Christmas Eve in an auto accident. This will be set at the site alongside the road where he died. This kid was 3 days older than my youngest daughter. Sure makes you think about things now and again.

The man wants to pay me for my time and I just can't find it in me to charge him anything.

Well another day in Dallas. :)

Similar ages to my two daughters and sons in laws. I know what you mean about taking pay for it, and I will tell you that you will recieve much more by not taking anything in this situation.

Thanks Mike,

He is a friend of the family of the young man. Someone gave him my name to get this done.

I told him that if he insisted on spending his dollars, that he should donate it to the young mans favorite charity or church in his memory, from an anonymous donor.
