I built this jig on the request of a fellow luthier in Taiwan.

The jig has 2 pins under the plate to slot into truss rod slots, and allows the user to use a router or dremel to true the nut slot on a guitar, once the headplate is glued in. Normally a saw is used but the saw introduces a lot of error (saw slips and now the headplate is scratched).

This is the plan (note the aluminum thickness can probably be reduced to 12mm and not affect the functioning of the jig).

Yep, nice. Can easily fix my slots when my glue up shifts a bit.
