I'm new to the forums.

I decided to start making my first guitar (steel stringed) at the beginning of this year and I thought it might be cool to blog about the entire process. I've almost completed the neck and have done a couple parts of the body so far. There are about 30 posts on my blog. I don't really know any luthiers personally but I've met a couple of you online – a very supportive group of people. Also you are an amazingly talented group!

Here is my invitation for any of you interested to check out my blog and offer any comments, constructive criticisms or just hellos!

Thanks Dave and I see that a lot of you have checked out the blog. Thanks for that.

I think i posted this in the wrong spot. But because the blog has pictures and is a start to finish – I thought I would post it here. Hope that's OK. However it is how a first time builder (not a luthier yet) would do it... so maybe a what NOT to do! I already know of about 100 things I'd do different next time.

I'm loving the process and almost every part has scared me... so I guess I'm growing.

Edit: I wanted to add, this would not be possible without the help from all the videos, blogs, websites and forums all of you put out there. Thanks for that too! If you have a video or blog out there I'll bet you a nickel I've watched or read it!
