I'm new to the forums. I decided to start making my first guitar (steel stringed) at the beginning of this year and I thought it might be cool to blog about the entire process. I've almost completed the neck and have done a couple parts of the body so far. There are about 30 posts on my blog. I don't really know any luthiers personally but I've met a couple of you online – a very supportive group of people. Also you are an amazingly talented group! Thanks Dave and I see that a lot of you have checked out the blog. Thanks for that. I think i posted this in the wrong spot. But because the blog has pictures and is a start to finish – I thought I would post it here. Hope that's OK. However it is how a first time builder (not a luthier yet) would do it... so maybe a what NOT to do! I already know of about 100 things I'd do different next time. I'm loving the process and almost every part has scared me... so I guess I'm growing.
