Hi Filippo, Template routing is, of course, an option but I do not use a router on anything so small. One can use a sanding drum with an index pin and a template as well. This thing is so tiny that I feel my method is as fast as any and very safe. It does mean that each curved mini-plane is a bit different but I cannot claim that my planes will create a particular radius curve in any case. If a tighter radius is needed then more material needs to be removed from the front and rear of the plane without touching the mouth area. I do have the curved bottom mini-plane for sale for those who are interested. Thanks for watching the video Filippo! stephen |
