i was on the silverfishlongboarding forums and came across a very interesting idea. they guy was thinking of taking his broken blender and turning it into a drum sander. just something crude and simple. here is a link to the original post http://www.silverfishlongboarding.com/f ... 1298682042 thinking of building one, if i find a blender at a garage sale this summer

Even at it's slowest speed I think a blender would be about 5X too fast, have no torque and probably nowhere near a durable enough bearing. A buddy bought one of those Home Depot ROSS sanders the other day off Craigslist for $50. |

I've never seen a blender that is powerful enough and I'll bet you haven't either. Plus they're way, way, way too fast. What's the word for the opposite of 'genius'? |

well it was for skateboard building. but still might work out for doing some rough sanding of a guit body |
