Our friend John Kitchen sent this great step by step photo set up for shooting guitars.
Here is what he has to say....

The history on the class; First off, thank you to my techhead son Zack that helped a dinosaur create a Power Point Presentation.
Photo 101 is how to do it right on the cheap. Most of the photo's in the lesson were photographed with a 3 year old $99 point and shoot. Photo 102 is for the advanced photographer with or interested in a few more toys.
These presentations were for 2 classes at A.S.I.A 2011 Both classes were standing room only. It was quite gratifying to teach.

Still lookin' for the rich/famous guitar collector to hire me to spend a month in their Mansion (I don't mind the pool house) photographing an Amazing guitar collection for a Coffee Table book. If any of you fellas can hook me up let me know!

Lance,

Links seem broken. I was able to download the files by going to your olffiles directory and getting them there, but only the second one would open. Tried the first one with Office Mac 2008 and also 2011, no luck.

Thanks,

Pat

Lance, the results I got were exactly as Pat described. Is there a functional copy available of 101?

Yep looks to be broken. I did figure out how to turn it into Jpegs. This weekend I will see if I can put them into Photobucket for a public slide show
