Hello!I am building greek instruments like bouzouki...their bridge is not glued but movable...it is an archtop instrument so i would like to know if there is a simple -fase way or a jig to make the bridge fit absolutly to the top with no gaps...?here is a sample of the instruments |

I find it hard to believe that a bridge with wings that long and thin is just loose, Would it not just buzz when played? Anyway, perhaps this may be of some use http://www.mandolinluthier.com/Bridge_fitting.htm |

no it doesnt buzz at al...Collin i am doing it this way right now but it is very hard at time effort to make it correct i was hoping for a jig maybe like the one stewmac sells if it possible to use it for this type of job i am willing to pay for it...but the mandoline bridge do have holes on it but the bouzouki one doesnt... |
