Hopefully self-explanatory. If not: zero the calipers against a flat surface in the doohickey, place on top of 2 frets, drop the calipers'
probe(?) to the fretboard, rock it back & forth slightly, there's the fret height. I'm finding this works hand in hand with Stewmac's nut slot stopper contraption: http://www.stewmac.com/Luthier_Tools/Ty ... Guard.html
