Sorry if this one has been posted before, I didn't find it with a quick search. Saw it on another forum and though it would be a nice cheap way to do inlay.

I made a version of McKenzie's pantograph. After a bit of experimenting, I made the stylus thinner than the cutter bit and the inlays slide right in.
