Great, Lance! When I built my kit, the OLF was a rich resource. This would have been even better! Pat |

Brock and I have long thought a Kit component would be a great place for many to start. And with our new commitment to better "house keeping" it seemed like an obvious choice that we needed a place like this! Its a resource that has been sorely missed. |

Lately there has been a tremendous influx of new members who are just starting thier guitar building adventures, many whom are starting with kits. We think that this will be a useful section to cover many of the basic questions that everyone has during their first build. |

Very Good Lance and Brock, This should be great new section here. Kits are most definitely a good way to go for 1st time builders IMO. |

Woody, I think its important to remember, ( and this is why I put it in the "rules) for this section, "Everybody starts somewhere"! Welcome to our Kit Builder forum! Many of us started with Kits and there are a quite a few OLFers that are currently building kits. So jump in with both feet! Lance |

Lance and Brock-- Kudos!! Very good idea to put this resource here. I know that when I first found out about the OLF, I was pretty intimidated to chime in on posts. This is a place where I hope all can contribute. Kits are a great way to get into building and even the least experienced of us can and do help out with our postings. |
