Please direct me to where he said it was not for sale at any price, then we can address your point, but until then, just because you say something is your own private stash, does not mean it isn't for sale at a certain price.

It's not that difficult of a concept really. People change their minds all the time. And even if he is using as a marketing term, what is the problem with that? A lot of companies even do that as part of their brand, using terms like "Private Reserve".

And I also read the thread top to bottom, and after Fillipos response, I went back and read it again. It still came across to me as an indirect shot at Pat..

What a train wreck. Just don't read the thread if you don't want to read it. It's not bothering me. I can skip it if I want to. Some of us enjoy seeing what other people are up to, even if the cognoscenti feel it's repetitive or somehow not up to some standard of posting.

private stock = timbers I have collected over the last 16 years of activity... = In my case, I dont see how this can be a marketing term... yes, I do have a private stock of wood for special occasions... eek
