With my shoulder problems I have to choose my "Battles." Does anyone have a lead on a luthier who will sell a "rough" shaped long tenon neck for a Les Paul? Thanks, Mike T.

I saw knock off pre-carved neck set necks on ebay several months ago. I doubt they would have fit a Gibson body. There are a few pre built unfinished kit out there but I have never seen any with the Gibson joint

Mike...Check out John Watkins at CNC Guitar Parts. He does a lot of stuff on his CNC that may not even be advertised. I also know that he has personally built LP types and may already know what you need. Tell him I sent you. Good luck!

You should check out Soulmate Guitars. I've never used them, but I've heard awesome things about them, and you get a HUGE choice in wood variety/customization.

Everyone I've ever talked to who has used them was blown away and expectations were more than met. Worth a look anyway...

Thank you for the tips. As it worked out, Roman Rist, a very fine luthier is making one for me. I do have big news, however, duplicator carver coming. MT
