How would you do a 3/4 scale guitar on a semi hollowbody like a ES-335. what I mean is what do you do to the fretboard and bridge positioning

...the same as for any other guitar. I'm not sure I get the question.

Your scale length dictates fret spacing, dictates bridge position. You decide on nut and bridge spacing, and the rest of the guitar is built around said numbers - they're the heart of the instrument. You get to decide where the body joins the neck, whether to simply scale down everything to fit, or compromise in some way.

what I'm trying to ask is how do you adjust everything without shortening the neck too much or moveing the bridge too much. Do the frets on any given scale length go down to nothing at the bridge if you had frets all the way down? Thats how I'm understanding it. I'm trying to build a guitar for a freind who has rumitoidal athritis and he was telling me how he once had a 3/4 size pevey that was real easy to play. It seems to me that you'd have to cut of the 1st few frets and the neck would get shorter from the nut end end. I think I understand now after typing all this out how it would work.

Like I said, define your scale length, and that dictates fret spacing and bridge placement. You then decide how much of the neck you want sticking out, and what spacing you want at nut and fingerboard.

I use a data projector to throw the pic of the style of instrument I want on the wall.

I zoom the image til the scale length is what I want and ten trace.

all the placement for bridge, pups etc is proportional
