Is the top dyed or stained or is that the natural look of the wood? I'm looking at some spalted maple that I was curious if I could get deep highlights like that out of. |

It is a natural Ziricote top. No dye no stain. Spalt is not going to look like Ziricote. It would be even come close with a good dye job on a piece of spalt. The only way to get the look of ziricote is to buy a ziricote top. |
