You'll always find customers for you guitars. It just won't be the same market depending of the quality of you work. But, if you build guitars, you're a luthier. |

you will be a "luthier" when you build many, and have a "standard", which will be your very own. |

The short answer is no; it isn't a certified trade or profession so there are no qualifications or standards. |
