Finished since a while but never posted pics!

I'm studying in an acoustic lutherie school, but during the first year, on my personnal time, I tried myself building an electric bass. Lot of mistakes and guesses, but i'm really happy with the results!

J Bass style
Body : swamp ash
Neck : pre-made all hard maple
Pick ups: Seymour PB2 and JB2 (passive, 2 volume 1 tone)
Hardware : all schaller. Roller bridge.
Tuners in ebony. Like the electronic back plate.

Nice work. What school are you enrolled in? I'm looking into two at the moment, the Summit School in Vancouver Island, and the Galloup School in Michigan, both would probably be for 6 months. Last spring I was at Atlanta Guitar Works for 6 weeks. Curious if anyone has attended any of these and wants to weigh in. I'm having a hard time deciding between Summit (http://www.luthiers-international.com/) and Galloup (http://www.galloupguitars.com/master-program.htm).

I attended the Galloup School - feel free to PM me to discuss. I really enjoyed it. I took the first 2 month program and I'm going back for the second 2 months at the end of the year.
