I have some ziricote that is quite narrow. Can you make a 4 piece back (OM)? Any design recommendations or photos of examples...?
Thanks,
Steve

Gee Steve,

Of course me can make a 4 piece ziricote backed Om for you...bet a lot of the other builders on this site can too.

Just PM me photos of examples what your looking for and a 5K (1/3rd) deposit to me C/o dis here web site and I'll add it to my delivery date of Jan 1st 2013, thats if we are still here on this planet.

Is true Steve that there are a lot of builders on here that will happily build it for less and a lot faster...but then you getts what you pay or is it pray for.

Of course you could always just build the sucker yerself.

Padma

Hi Steve,

It's definitely possible, you just have to be extra careful lining up the pieces properly and making sure your glue joints are solid.

Also, I assume you meant to post this in the acoustic (main) forum. This is the electric forum. You'll definitely have more luck over there. Good luck!

Oops. I meant to post in the acoustic forum. I just typically look at the active posts...

By-the-way, I'm not looking for someone else to make the guitar for me. I want to know if it's practical to make a 4 piece back, or just use the ziricote for something else... I have heard of 4 piece tops, just not 4 piece backs...
