Post subject:  Neck Through Blank

I'm looking for a neck blank that would be suitable for a neck through body short scale bass. 40"x2.5"x3" I think would be suitable. If I have to use several pieces to get the desired width that is absolutely fine. I'd prefer Spanish Cedar or any Mahogany variant. Good Sapele would do nicely I think. Please PM me if you are a wood dealer and have something on hand that would be suitable.

I am aware that Stewmac sells neck through blanks. Just wanted to get that out of the way. I am only interested in raw wood, milled or otherwise, and the grain should, of course be right for a neck.

Go to Weiss Hardwoods in Clearwater. They have exotics, and stuff.
