So maybe it's been discussed in brief throughout different threads, but if it hasn't specifically been talked about in a dedicated thread maybe we could start here. I haven't been building that long, which may be why my necks have not twisted. Not sure. Time will tell. I have only built necks that are from rift-sawn cuts. The only thing I have noticed so far is that if I don't use carbon fiber then my necks bow on the bass side of the neck. But that's a bow and not a twist..
So what in your experience causes neck twists? How do you know for sure. I was hoping to get some facts on this subject and not necessarily opinions. Although feel free to share whatever of course. I thought it would be a good discussion, even if it has been beat to death, maybe someone has something new to share.
