I have a telecaster guitar refinishing series on my site. Telecaster Refinishing It's an '90 American made alder body that I got at GC for $450. The website is still a work in progress. So what do you guys think?

Why do you think this will improve the tone?

Only minimally, to please the Tone Queens. :ugeek:

I think that the extra thick finish/paint on the original does effect to tone, sanding it off allows it to resonate better. To my ears it's a tad brighter. Is it worth it? I like the look better, that's really what I was aiming for.
