If it's a genuine blank off the floor then the top should be about .814" thick..
Nice top! It definitely looks like the real deal...great find! I'll look forward to seeing what you do with it!

Just don't let him burn it. Maybe you should toy around with chopping off the upper horn, to make it look more tele like? Nice maple! It's got those nice dark streaks in it, that I like. The fiddle is bordering on quilted, or something. Nice! |

I would check to see how deep the holes go - you still may be able to get a contour top out of it??? The wood is spectacular! |
