Well, I have not posted in forever because life is so busy :( I am about to have another baby and have spent more time remodeling than crafting guitars. It is all worth it I guess.

This is my LR Singlecut: aside from being the most difficult thing to take photos of, I am pretty happy with it. Enjoy!

Frankly, I don't know much about solid body guitars, but yours looks like it is dressed in a tuxedo, all ready for a wedding gig. I think it's quite beautiful.

Thanks guys.

The heel cap is a tenon on wenge (matching the top) that serves as structural support for the set neck with a heavy carve.

The inlay is a close approximation of "It is Finished" in Hebrew, matching a tattoo that the owner has.

Wow, very nice. As others have said, very elegant. I dig the fretboard inlay too. I have hebrew inlaid on the fretboard of my Cornerstone.

Oooooooh that’s a nice finish, and I love the pups set up, that’s a P90 bridge and a bucker put upside down on the neck right? A la Peter Green? Are the two pups outta phase? How long is the distance between bridge and nut, 24.75?

I really do as well like this guitar and the way it came out. Tonally, it is thick and full. The new owner played it in a show the day he received it and said "it sounds like honey and plays like butter".

It is a 25.4 scale, with a wenge top, aspen core, and african mohogany back. THe neck pickup is a SD Pearly gates. I flipped it upside down for a number of reasons - mainly because I tapped it, and when tapped, it is "sometimes my experience" that I get a nicer blend with a P-90 in the bridge. I use a heavily overwound P-90 in the bridge. The pickups are in-phase and parallel when in the center position.

Very elegent!
Everything about it, the shape, the finish, the woods, the inlays is insync.
How did you make the electronics cover from the same piece of wood as the body ?

Hillel,

Actually that is not the same piece, but a very cleverly selected offcut from the body slab.

However, in the past I generally do use the same wood, but only if I am using a back veneer (something about 1/2 a centimeter thick) In which case I have used a scroll saw with a tiny blade, a dremel router with a 1-1.5mm cutter and an custom routing template, and finally, I have had it cut out with a tiny endmill on a CNC router.
