Anyone ever use tigerwood before?

I have used it once... to make that bass... Sounds great, but since it was a new design with a custom pick-up, it is hard to know what the wood brings to the equation...

thanks alot guys - sick looking bass by the way. the grain is beautiful. I have a line on an abnormally figured huge chunk of this stuff, and i'm absolutely smitten with how it looks.

Uber Rookie builder here, so I haven't really worked with it, but...

I do have a "kit" strat with an unfinished Goncalo Alves neck. IMO, feels great to play on (if you're into the feel of an unfinished neck). I've played un-finished Indian RW and Wenge necks on other guitars too, to me the Goncalo feels the most natural and "woody" of the three. Leaving it unfinished has led tot it getting a bit darker over time. I'm not sure if that's due to oxidation or dirt/oils from my hand... or a combination of both...

Cant speak much to its use as a body wood though.

You can't really see here, but there's a decent amount of bees wing/mottle figure on there too.
