Be beloved vintage 80's Boss DD-2 Delay pedal has bit the dust. I did the usual checking for the easy stuff, nothing is burnt out and connections are solid. The power light comes on when you switch it on and the signal runs through it but the effect won't work. Anyone know who might fix these things? Regards. |

I hate to tell you, but probably not worth fixing. I use digital delay a lot, my favorite effect. The last one burned out and I got the DD-7. I like it. It has an analog setting for delay that I like. Plus other weird stuff like modulate, and reverse note, if you're so inclined to use. The "tap in" tempo feature is a must! |

Cool thanks I'll probably send them an email to see if they can fix it. In the mean time I walked into the shop across the street from where I works and what do ya know? They happened to have a used DD3 in great shape for $50 bucks The DD3 is the same as the DD2 only made in Taiwan. Alan I think you are probably right, it's not worth it. But I had this little pedal for 20 years now so it's sad to see her go And it's vintage man Vintage! Anyway the DD3 sounds just like it so it will hold me over for the gigs I have up and coming. |
