I'm gonna be building my first neck for this build. The pocket will be stratocaster spec. Is there a resource that shows neck specs before finish shaping? (i.e. Thickness of neck blank before fret board, thickness of fret board) It was not hard finding specs like, width at nut and pocket. Do the majority of you take specs from another guitar or design from scratch? Please purge all neck building experience here.  Thanks for all your help.

3/4" for the neck and 1/4" for the fretboard. Steve |

Thanks Steven. How about router templates for a strat neck? Do you know anyone who has a high quality template? I have found one on ebay but have no knowledge of the quality so if someone has a template they have used and can recommend that would be awesome. |
