Anyone got a Factory wiring diagram for a Fender HM Strat? |

If you go to Fender's site, you can download a wiring diagram for any instrument they make from their support section. Sorry. They have diagrams for almost every one. Can't find the HM. |

Yeah, Looked there first. Found one on another forum, but it is hand drawn, does not look like an official schematic. |

Yes, The hand drawn one that says courtesy of fender is the one I've seen. What I do not get is how a coil tap switch works if the coils are connected at the pick-up. Don't I need at least 3 wires coming from the pick-up to tap a coil with a switch? |

I see what you mean. http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wi ... tone_split In my previous reply, a diagram shows not enough wires for a coil tap from the hummer. Wierd. Anyway, you can see in the SD diagram how it goes. Good luck! |
