Post subject:  Strat back to S/S/S - Does Anyone Here Do That?

I recently picked up a Strat body that was routed to accepted 2x hums and a Floyd. If anyone here can do a near seamless resto in prep for opaque Oly White paint, please contact me. I have some alder and a Kirn template. Was gonna do it myself, but moved to a place that doesn't facilitate the use of my tools.

Unless this is a vintage body I don't really see no sense in it. Is It? if not a new body would be a lot cheaper then this repair. And as for seamless that would be difficult even if you had pieces of the exact wood blank that this was made from since wood expands and contracts and no two pieces are the same..Mike

Yes. It's a '64

Does anyone here do this sort of work?

Looks like all you need is various grits of sandpaper?
