I'm building a PRS style electric with fan fret fingerboard. What are my options for the bridge? I want to use custom string spacing. |

This is what I came up with, it uses the LR baggs T bridge piezo inserts. The picture is not a multi scale, but I worked on this so I can make any spacing and saddle radius. Not very adjustable though, height can be changed with shims. Across town at Megatar he has little brackets made that can screw in anywhere. The hard tail solution is easier http://www.megatar.com/english/models/H ... ammer.html Novax the modern originator:http://novaxguitars.com/index.html Dingwall: http://www.dingwallguitars.com/ I hope this thread turns up something I don't know about. I love the Baggs piezos, and though I can't adjust, like acoustics, I just have to spend the extra time getting it right in the shop, from there I don't expect much need to adjust. Rob |

It appears some have had success modifying a Schaller/ Hannes bridge. http://www.jadenroseguitars.com/diary/j ... -11-8-2011 And while not listed on their site I have seen Kahler trem equipped multi's. |

http://www.toone-townsend.com/bridge.html http://www.allparts.com/ABM-Single-Stri ... 00-003.htm http://guitarworks.thestrandbergs.com/products/ (for headless) OR http://www.emachineshop.com/ Design and build your own. I did these m/s bridges built off standard Tele data, but for 7 string. I had no prior CAD experience, so don't be scared to give it a go. You can countersink, counterbore, thread tap and whatever else. And they have all the different steel types, aluminum types, brass, titanium, whatever. |

Forgot to ask - is there a neck angle on those? |
