What is the best way to approach this in your opinion? Like cutting a purfling channel on a Les paul. |

Always wary of "best" questions, but very basically the two powered ways involve jigs where a "donut" bears on the outer 3/8" of the body edge. One jig is the Williams style jig (fixed guitar body...moving router on an arm....I use the williams), and the other is the LMI style (fixed floating router, moving guitar). I expect you could do it other ways ... maybe Joshs' jig... or by hand. |

Same binding equipment I use for acoustics. I made my own set up but it's very similar to this. http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdproduc ... ng+Machine |
