I'm working on a new guitar and will order SM's Gibson fret scale.
There are three normal scales and one long scale.
I plan to use one of the normal scales.
Does anyone have a preference to which scale to use?
I plan to use a 16" radius rather than 12".
These scales supposedly match Gibson guitar samples.

I use a 24.6" Les Paul scale with a 10.5"-13.4" compound radius fretboard.

I doubt too many people could tell the difference between the three you listed when playing them.

I read Emerson on the can. A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds...true...but a consistent reading of Emerson has its uses nevertheless.

I use 24.562", which I think is equivelent to 24 and 9/16". I use it because that's the one I first used, so I'm set up for it. And also because it's the shortest of Gibson's 24 and 3/4" scales. When I think Gibson I think short scale, so I want as much difference between Fender's 25.5" and Gibson's scale( the two scales I use most often). That's 24.562" in my book. But I think I see more builders using 24.625" or even 24.75". But I agree that you most likely won't be able to feel the difference. There might be some tonal difference between 24.562" and 24.75", but with everyhing else that goes into building a guitar, I doubt anyone could actually physically hear it.
