Hi all,

Looking for a little help. I have just received my first proper order, for a guitar based on the Rick Turner model 1c as played by Lynsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac.
The key reason my client wants to base on this model is its smaller size, however this is the problem for me, I can't find the dimensions of the body if this guitar anywhere, so if anyone had any info I would be eternally grateful.
I have no intention of copying the design of the guitar, just want to use it as a starting point for my own design and to incorporate the specifications of my client.

Cheers for any help.

Why don't you just ask Rick himself.

OR go here and scale it from the pics

Do you know it never crossed my mind to actually ask Rick, that would solve a lot of issues. I'll give him a call in the week, just hope he doesn't get annoyed at me asking.

What dimensions are you looking for? I designed a copy of the Model 1 for a client by scaling a photo. The body is approximately 13 1/2" x 16 1/4".

That's great, and exactly what I needed, as my client wants a guitar of similar size I thought I would start my design confined in a box the rough size and see where it takes me.
