On the Stewmac site, it mentions you can paint or stain the back of acrylic inlays for a tinted look. Didn't find anything in my search of the net. Has anyone done this? Is it just a matter of staining them with a little Honey Amber or does it take something stronger since they are not transparent. I would like to go for more of a celluloid or MOP look. Something other than stark white. Thanks. |

I have tinted celluloid for restoration work using dye type stain such as Solar-Lux. It works well though I typically stain the face of them. |

Disolve pieces of acrylic in acetone, ad Pigment. Brush, pour, dip or spray. |
