Post subject: | New Jaguar Bass |
Had a squier jaguar sitting around and the body was detestable so I made a new one out of pine. Started out looking like: ![]() Then the unfinished body: ![]() And after torching it and putting a solid 10+ coats of polyurethane on it I got this: ![]() Lots of amateur mistakes were made but I really like the burned look on it! |

So hard, in fact, that the intensity of the warmness actually seems to have burned the wood. ;D Admittedly I can imagine pine on a guitar wouldn't be the most beautiful sounding thing. |
