I have been coming up empty handed trying to find a good way to price the wood I have.

I recently rescued some old pine joists from a renovation at the building I work at.
I would like to eventually make some telecaster bodies out of them.

I have a guitar maker interested in buying some. I just don't know what to charge.

The building is a Carnegie brick building built in 1907 on an re-purposed college campus.

The pine has a nice tight grain.

I have 4 pieces for him. (2 halves ea. for two guitars).
So far, I have planed and cut the wood.
They are different sizes but have the same thickness

you might check with Pioneer Millworks in Farmington. They specialize in timbers pulled from 19th mill buildings and such and you should be able to get a good idea what your pine would be worth

I have been avoiding those guys for some time. I always thought of them as big timber guys. I forgot about the millworks department.
