Roger Siminoff has them for sale

http://parts.siminoff.net/fretboards.aspx

These are 15 5/8" scale length, which I believe is standard for Gibson mandolas (at least one of their standards, they seem to have varied some over the years), but as you say, many modern makers use longer scales than that. For the ’dola I finished recently, I used a 25.5” guitar fret template, but I placed the nut at the 7th fret position, for a scale length of 420 mm or so (16.54”). Of course I had to cut 3 or 4 frets by hand, guitars normally don’t have frets that far up…

Can you tell me the "standard" width at the first and 12th fret for a Mandola fretboard?

Question Partially answered laughing6-hehe I purchased one from these felleas you recommended arnt and it is well done , I will use it soon , however it is a tad thinner at the nut than I like , does anyone have them in a pre-slotted rectangle ? I have asked them the same question , hopefully I will hear back soon.

Thanks again for the site refrence . [:Y:]

LMI will slot to almost any scale that you want. For a mandola, a 25.4 guitar scale will give you the option of a 16, 17, 18 ,or 19 inch scale. Just choose the proper fret. The cut 22 slots by default but you can ask for more. I don't know the limit. If you want a scale that is 15.6, 16.6, 17.6 or 18.6 you can find those on a 24.9 scale. LMI will sell you a square fret slotted fretboard and you can taper it yourself.
