In the process of my current build, came across a piece of Fishtail Oak........never heard of it, but couldn't resist buying it. Not really an Oak........I believe it's related to lacewood, but some really beautiful, figured stuff!!! Spent the day cutting it up into binding strips (which are available for sale - pm me). The pics don't do it justice....even after naphta......guessing maybe I need a new camera or perhaps some photography classes! :lol: :lol:
