My 16 y.o. sons guitar. He uses my first build all the time, so we need to get him off on his own. Despite the wedge in my first, he finds the small jumbo a bit big so were' going with an OM size. B/S: Flamed Paduak from RC Tonewoods. Top: Stripey Sinker redwood from LuthierCoolTools Size: OM cutaway... Top bout: 11.25" waist: 9" Lower bout: 15" 12 fret to the body. Plans are PL31 (I think) from LMII Not sure how the top will go with the flamed paduak. I think as the B/S fire engine red tones down it should look good, but I have my reservations, but my son is excited so we'll see what we can do with it. |
