As a beginner in the art of lutherie (I'm still building molds, tools, and jigs) I am impressed with the goal of making inexpensive instruments. For all of you competing (or heckling), I thought you might be interested in this movie trailer - the ultimate in low cost instruments! This is a trailer for a documentary about kids who literally live at a dump, and how the people who make their living recycling trash have made a full orchestra of instruments from junk. ...somebody posted this a month or so back, but i am glad you reposted it, and it is nice to see people have an appreciation for giving things like this a little bit of thought from time to time. cheers! i found the video inspiring |
