I was filing out the E slot on a bone nut when it chipped off and had to be replaced. I'm going to start another thread on that re: nut files. But anyway, you all probably do the same thing, when you blow a nut you throw it in your used nut bin because some day you might be able to fit it on another guitar with a little work right? Well on this particular guitar I opened up my little box of used nuts and poked around till I found one that looked close... It was an absolute 100% spot on perfect fit in every way. Width, height and every nut slot was unbelievably perfect. I could not believe it. A once in a life time. Just had to share :D
