I had a bridge reset in the shop where there was some pullout of the top. I had done top grafts before but I remembered seeing it on this forum a method where a gouge was used to cut the top to shape and then the same gouge was used to cut the fill. I have to say that this method is FAR superior for this task than anything I had ever done before. I don't remember which member it was that spoke of it but I wanted to say thank you for sharing this technique, it really works well and I'll be using it from now on in this case where it's applicable. Some pics, the pullout is visible here. After the initial grafting and scraping, still have a few smaller holes to fill but it's much better than before. Thanks so much to whomever it was that posted about this. |
