Guy brought me this for " Restoration" Gibson L1 late 40's Apparently it has been worked on before . Very Very poorly i might add . You will see areas that have " Fiberglass " that has been applied and finished over to try and blend it together . ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!! I've saved worse..... Is that just the remnants of a stinger painted on there or was a new headstock grafted on? |

It appears that half of the neck was coated over with fiberglass and finished over to blend in . Whats under the fiberglass is only a guess . If you look carefully at the picture of the neck by the headstock you will see where the "webbing" of the fiber glass wasnt coated and covered . I have never been one that would shy away from a challenge ! |
